Sehban Azim, a talented and popular television actor, has captivated audiences with his memorable performances in hit serials like Tujhse Hai Raabta, Dill Mill Gayye, and Bepannaah. In a conversation with TellyChakkar, Sehban shared his personal struggles with skin tone discrimination, a pervasive issue in the entertainment industry.

Recalling his early days in Delhi, Sehban revealed that he faced discrimination due to his dark skin complexion. "In my family, people would often comment, 'Everyone is so fair, why is he so dark?' As a kid, I struggled with this issue, feeling like my skin tone was a flaw." This bias followed him into his TV career, with a channel suggesting he should lighten his skin to look more appealing on screen.

Sehban refused to conform, proudly embracing his natural skin tone. "I stopped using makeup and told them, 'If you want to keep me, keep me as I am, or else I'm okay with being removed.'" His confidence and self-acceptance have paid off, as he now celebrates his wheatish skin tone, recognizing that it looks great on camera.

Sehban's journey serves as an inspiration, encouraging others to embrace their unique features and challenge harmful beauty standards. As he noted, "People are changing, and they're realizing that wheatish skin actors look great on screen." By sharing his story, Sehban hopes to promote inclusivity and diversity in the industry, celebrating the beauty of all skin tones.
