A few days back, the news of Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe’s termination from the sets of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai sent the internet and fans of the show in a frenzy. A press release from the production house spoke about both Shehzada and Pratiksha’s termination from the show and cited unprofessional behaviour the reason for the same.

While there were a lot of speculations surrounding the exit of the actors and many versions of the story have been doing rounds on the internet, a very close insider from the sets of the show has revealed what exactly transpired on that day which led the production house to take such a drastic step on the spot.

Speaking to us about the same, our source said, “That day, Shehzada was in the makeup room and an AD went to Call him for the scene. He did not pay heed despite being called and came for the scene late which caused a delay in the shoot. When confronted, Shehzada stated that the AD told him he can come ‘Aaram se’ and that he had time. However, the AD refused and said that he did not say anything as such. This caused a heated spat, and Shehzada went ahead to lash out on him, telling things like, “Tu jaanta nahi meri buddhi kaisi hai.” He further gave an option to the production house stating that either the AD will work on the sets or he will work. He wanted the AD to not address him by his name but by calling him ‘sir.’ This news reached to Rajan Shahi and he immediately came down on the sets of the show and sacked the actors.”

Both Shehzada and Pratiksha have remained silent on this incident as of now. However, the actors did share a few cryptic posts on their Instagram stories yesterday.
