Fahmaan Khan to Lead Colors TV's Remake of "Lakshana" with Ketaki Kulkarni and Debattama Saha as Leading Ladies

The original narrative of "Lakshana" revolves around the lives of two girls, Nakshatra and Shwetha, who were unknowingly exchanged at birth by Doctor Tulsi in a hospital 23 years ago. Nakshatra, a dusky complexioned girl, faces discrimination from her own family, who deem her unworthy due to her skin color. Despite her aspirations of becoming a TV anchor, Nakshatra encounters obstacles in a society obsessed with fair skin.
Trouble brews when Bhupathi, the owner of MPR Foods, who resides as a paying guest in Nakshatra's house, falls in love with her voice, believing it to be Shwetha's. As the story unfolds, Nakshatra and Shwetha navigate the complexities of their identities and relationships, culminating in a journey of self-discovery and acceptance.
